How do next-generation insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) perform over time under everyday household conditions?

At AIRID, our ITN durability project follows nets used in communities to assess their physical condition and continued effectiveness against malaria vectors.

Community mobilisation is central to this work. Engaging community leaders and participating households helps explain the research, build trust and support follow-up throughout the study.

We thank the communities and our field teams whose contributions make this research possible.
